Dear Ones,
We are preparing for Mike’s return to Russia to bring many supplies we have gathered for the indigenous pastors and missionaries. He is also returning to retrieve many of our personal items from Vilyuisk. I will not be going with him, as the travel back and forth is too much for me at this time.
We are looking for Mike to leave in the first few days of December, and stay through Dec. 24th. The dates are flexible and we are in the process of confirming his itinerary. We need to acquire the funds for his trip which are as follows:
Evansville to Moscow: $825 round trip
Moscow to Yakutsk: $1,050 round trip
Yakutsk to Vilyuisk: $500 round trip
We would like to bring to closure the details of our ministry for this year’s visa from April 07 to April 08. As we work and pray through our ministry in 2008, we feel that the best time for Mike to conclude our business there will be in December, so that he can be free to pursue the directions that the Lord has for us in 2008.
This has been a very difficult time for us, as we have been seeking His direction and provision. We are very thankful for the support of all who have continued to bless us.
We still have to carry the mortgage and house utilities for our home in Evansville as well as our ministry and transportation needs. We are staying with friends from our church family, since the couple who have assisted us while we were gone, have refurbished our home and we have a contract with them till April 2008, since we had planned to be in Yakutia during this period of time.
Please pray for us during this time and ask the Lord if He would direct you to help with the transportation needs of this trip.
We thank the Lord for the privilege of serving Him among our beloved people in Yakutia and we will continue to pray for them and support them as the Lord provides. Pray for us as we seek specific direction in how to serve both the Sakha church and the American church here in the US.
