Dear ones,
We flew back to Evansville from San Diego, CA October 15th. We had a blessed time of fellowship, under the preaching ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah October 7th and October 14th. Mike was asked to give the message at the singles’ ministry of the church so we extended our stay with daughter Jeanne through to Monday, October 15. Our adopted family from New Bethel, Tony and Ethyl Robinson picked us up at the Nashville airport and brought us home to Evansville.
We are currently being hosted by the Robinsons, as I work on administrative tasks and connect with friends and supporters. Mike has continued to work on finishing our van home. This past weekend, we shared our work at Grace Bible Church in Columbia, MO, at a Chinese church in the area, and with an assembly of students at Central Christian College of the Bible.
We finished an interview for upcoming articles on us in a local Evansville paper, which will begin this month. It is the first of 3 part series of our life and work in Siberia.
We continue to ask the Lord to show us His will regarding our return trip to Russia. We do not yet have the finances needed for the trip and we also have needs here in Evansville, as we are responsible for the expenses of our home here. I have found the travel very difficult and we are therefore contemplating a return trip for Michael rather than both of us. Please pray for wisdom, provision, and direction for us during this critical juncture of time. We continue to praise the Lord for our church family here and their care for us.
