Our Faith. . .

Considering the love of God in Jesus Christ...

Proving the claims of Jesus Christ, takes only minutes. Millions know the truth and reject it, but "countless" others believe unto eternal life:

...I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation and tribe, and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." Rev 7:9-10 (NAS)

Jesus Christ made these solemn promises:

..."I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:35-40, 44 (NIV)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life...Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear his deeds will be exposed...John 3:16-19 (NIV)

Sin‘s presence , not God’s truth is the issue:

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man...Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity...For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever…. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind... filled with all unrighteousness,...haters of God...without understanding...Rom 1:21-31 (NAS)

Between any person and an intimate knowledge of (a relationship with) God is a spirit, mind, and will darkened by sin. Alive to supernatural religious experience but dead to the Holy Spirit. Many in the church and outside of it have no intimate relationship with God. Perhaps a knowledge of God, but no power to do His will. Today’s Laodicean "Christianity" is one of many polytheistic religions, but the God of the Bible is at the top of its pantheon. Demons imitate the Holy Spirit hypnotizing church goers with "warm fuzzies", but provide no desire, or boldness for a clear explanation of the Gospel to a neighbor. Jesus said:

"...So then, you will know them by their fruits. "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness. 'Matt 7:20-23 (NAS)

>In the world at large and within the Christian church many are blinded and separated from TRUE salvation by self-centered religions and doctrines of demons which replace the "will of the Father" with the will and pleasure of man. Are you tired of playing church? Is God calling YOU? To Himself?

Jesus said, …"No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:25-30 (NIV)

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me. Rev 3:20 (NAS)

"But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish... "My Father, who has given {them} to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch {them} out of the Father's hand. John 10:26-29 (NAS)

The Apostle Paul references the ancient practice of the Roman Legions’ and generals‘, Triumphal Entry:

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life.2 Cor 2: 14-16 (NAS)

When a Roman general won a decisive victory, he openly paraded his former foes before the emperor in a great procession with special incense permeating all. For those condemned to be executed the incense was an "aroma" of death. To those given "new life" it was the "aroma" of life. Jesus Christ in His crucifixion and resurrection, has conquered Satan’s kingdom and will return soon to forever destroy its presence and horrific consequences. All mankind is under the curse and power of sin and Satan apart from God.

The "perishing", are condemned by unbelief in defiant atheism and self-centered Christian and non-Christian religions. To these, the intimate presence, and knowledge of God and Jesus Christ, the lives of obedient Christians, and the Bible as the ultimate visible authority, are to them the "aroma" or bitter stench of affirmation of an eternal separation from God’s love. Calling out in repentance to God to show His mercy would be a degradation and an insult. The last thing they WANT to know is God’s truth.

To those in sin being called by God’s Holy Spirit, who feel sorrow in the conviction of their sin, the life of a Godly Christian, and the Word of God are a sweet aroma of new life, drawing them to their Savior. Sin is empty, and they long for release from fear, anger, torment, and lies. These are drawn—not repelled by the scriptures I quoted. Is God calling YOU, right now?

Then from the depths of your heart ask Him for His new life, and to dwell in you:

1. "Confess" (agree with Him) that your sin has separated you from Him. Ask Him to reveal Himself and His will for your life. (Rom 10:9; 1 John 1:9)

2. Accept the penalty paid in full for your sin once and for all (past, present, and future) by Jesus Christ‘s death and resurrection; God’s ONLY acceptable payment. (Hebrews 9:24 – 28)

3. Trust His assurance of eternal life (1 John 5:10-16)

Ask Him to fill you with the power of His Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth, and empower you to live a life of loving obedience. (John 16:13; Gal. 5:16-25)

4. Get a Holy Bible and "devour" it letting God’s Spirit give you understanding. (Hebrews 4:12)

5. Find a pastor and a church who live as if Jesus really said:

"Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Rev 22:12,14 (NAS)
